SMARTer Kids Grant for SMART Products
This Grant is an educational award that assists educators in the purchase of SMART products for their classrooms. Developed by the SMARTer Kids Foundation, the Grant helps thousands of K-12 schools, higher-education facilities and technical institutions acquire interactive technology by increasing its affordability and accessibility. Eligibility
The SMARTer Kids Grant for SMART Products is available to all public or private, accredited, not-for-profit educational institutions, authorized homeschoolers, museums and libraries involved in K-12, college, university, vocational and technical instruction or administration. Institutions must provide educational programming, which is recognized by your local school district and be located in the United States or Canada. Grants will be awarded based on the feasibility, originality and innovational elements as judged by a committee appointed by the foundation.

Homeschoolers must supplement their application form with a copy of the letter of intent or registration form that was submitted to the local school board or department of education declaring home schooling status. Additionally we require a copy of the confirmation letter from the school board or Department of Education acknowledging the applicant has declared home schooling as a primary method for instruction.

Grant Amounts for SMART Products
Grant amounts are 20% to 70% of the suggested list price for the purchase of qualifying SMART products. To receive pricing, please contact us via email or by phone at 877.774.4523.

Deadlines
Applications must be received prior to midnight, September 30, 2005
Grants must be utilized by October 31, 2005
Applications received between August 1, 2005, and September 30, 2005, for which a Grant has been approved, but not utilized, will be automatically reprocessed and approved by the foundation using the new guidelines for the 2005–2006 Grant year.

Sharing Your Success
Institutions awarded a Grant agree to the publication of their identities and information related to their use of the Grant in any promotional media that the foundation and its partners may elect. For complete program details and qualifying criteria, go to FAQ's
